Nadine hindi pa handang bumida sa ‘T-Bird At Ako’: That’s very daring

KINILIG ang award-winning actress na si Nadine Lustre nang malamang aprub kay Vilma Santos na gawin nila ni Kathryn Bernardo ang remake ng “T-Bird At Ako.”
Ang naturang classic 1982 movie ay pinagbidahan ng Star for All Seasons at ng Superstar at National Artist na si Nora Aunor na gumanap na magdyowa sa kuwento.
Ito ay idinirek ni Danny Zialcita, kung saan gumanap na dancer sa club si Vilma habang abogado naman si Nora. Isa ito sa mga classic at blockbuster movie noon na may temang LGBTQIA+.
Sa isang interview kay Ate Vi, sinabi nga nito na bagay kina Kath at Nadine ang “T-Bird At Ako” kung gagawan ito ng bagong version, “Oh, heaven ‘yan! Heaven ang team na ‘yan, parehong magaling! That’s a good pair.”

Sabi naman ni Nadine, isang matinding challenge para sa kanya ang naturang project pero feeling niya hindi pa ito ang tamang panahon para gumawa siya ng mga ganitong klase ng pelikula.
“I’m so happy she approves and appreciates my work but I think it’s a matter of comfort level, because I don’t think I’m ready for something like that. That’s very daring, di ba?”
“It’s very intimate. I’m not sure if I’m ready for something like that but it’s a challenge, and you know naman I’m up for challenges. It’s something that we can work on, tingnan natin,” paliwanag ni Nadine.

Minsan na ring nakatrabaho ni Nadine si Ate Vi sa isang episode ng “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, “Actually, looking forward to working with her or just to see her again. Why not, I’m game!

“Super game ako. You know me, I’m always excited to work with new people,” sey ng dalaga.
Para naman sa mga expectations niya ngayong Bagong Taon, “I really have a good feeling about 2024. Hindi ko nga alam, eh.
“I feel like it’s too early for me to say what’s going to happen this year, but ang goal ko talaga this year is to have creative projects – like music or pottery, not necessarily projects in showbiz. Like even personal projects,” aniya pa.
Sa ngayon, waiting si Nadine sa pagpapalabas ng bago niyang horror movie na “Nokturno” directed by Mikhail Red.
