TILA nadurog ang puso ng ating pambato sa Miss Grand International na si Nikki de Moura matapos siyang mabigo sa international competition.
Sa isang Instagram post, inihayag ni Nikki ang kanyang pagkadismaya, pati na rin ang kanyang pasasalamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa kanyang pageant journey.
Magugunitang laglag agad sa Top 20 ang Brazilian-Filipino model sa naganap na coronation night sa Vietnam noong October 25, habang ang kinoronahan ay si Luciana Fuster ng Peru.
Wika ni Nikki sa IG, “I poured my heart and soul into representing Philippines and my heart aches with disappointment. But even in the face of this heartache, I choose gratitude.”
“Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and I’m determined to make the most of every moment,” saad pa niya.
Ayon sa kanya, naiintindihan niya ang nangyari at ito raw ay magiging inspirasyon niya upang lalo pang magsumikap at magtagumpay sa buhay.

“I understand I may still be young, I will continue to work hard, learn, and grow, because I believe that disappointment is only a stepping stone to future success,” sey ng beauty queen.
Patuloy niya, “This is not the end…. just the start of something greater, and I’m excited to see where life’s adventures will take me.”
“Now, I stand before you, not as a part of the top 20, but as someone who gave her all [Philippine flag emoji] #missgrandinternational2023,” sambit pa niya.
Dagdag pa niya habang inisa-isang i-tag ang mga naging bahagi ng kanyang journey, “I want to thank each and every one of you who supported me on this path. I want to thank my team.”
“I may not have claimed the crown, but I carry the honor of representing the Philippines with pride and gratitude in my heart,” aniya pa.

Hanggang ngayon, wala pang Pinay ang nakakakuha ng titulong Miss Grand International.
Ang mga pambato ng ating bansa na muntik nang koronahan sa nasabing titulo ay sina Nicole Cordoves at Samantha Bernardo na itinanghal na first runner-up noong 2016 at 2020, respectively.
