Sam YG nag-resign na sa Magic 89.9 after 17 years: ‘Walang nag-away, walang nagkagalit’

KINUMPIRMA ng radio at TV personality na si Sam YG na nag-resign na siya sa radio station na Magic 89.9 makalipas ang 17 years.

Inanunsyo niya ‘yan sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram account noong October 6.

Pag-amin ni Sam, ang paglisan niya sa nasabing radio station ay isang napakalaking desisyon na kanyang ginawa.

“To everyone asking… Yes, it is true that I am resigning from @magic899,” wika niya sa post.

Caption pa niya, “Big decision and bigger things ahead. Will talk more about it soon.”

Para sa kaalaman ng marami, isa si Sam YG sa mga radio anchors ng successful radio talk show na pinamagatang “Boys Night Out (BNO).”

Kasama niya riyan ang original hosts na sina Tony Toni (Anthony James Bueno) at Slick Rick (Eric Virata) na sinimulan ang “BNO” noon pang March 2006.

Sa hiwalay na IG post, ipinunto ni Sam YG na mapayapa siyang umalis sa istasyon at hanggang sa katapusan nalang siya ng Nobyembre magho-host nito.

“Just to be clear. Walang nag-away. Walang nagkagalit,” paglilinaw niya sa IG.

Saad pa niya, “I believe I’ve given my all these past 17 years and I will forever be grateful for all the lessons I’ve learned and the lives I’ve touched.”

Nabanggit niya na nalulungkot siya, pero sa kabilang banda ay na-eexcite siya sa panibago niyang journey sa kanyang karera.

“[As much] as it pains me to leave [‘Boys Night Out’], I’m also excited for what’s ahead,” wika niya.

Aniya pa, “I’ll be staying till the end of November so till then… Let’s make every show count and do @boysnightout899 like we’ve never done before, shall we?”

Kasabay din ng kanyang post ay nilinaw niya na hindi siya mangingibang-bansa at bukas pa rin daw siyang tumanggap ng hosting gigs.

“I’m not leaving the [country] and I’ll still be hosting corporate/TV shows, events, weddings, and everything in between,” sey niya.

Biro pa niya sa post, “PS: Wag lang children’s parties,” he said without disclosing his upcoming plans.”

Kung maaalala, dati nang nakasama sa original cast ng “Eat Bulaga” si Sam YG na pinangungunahan nina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto at Joey de Leon.

Umalis siya sa noontime show noong 2016.
