Itchyworms may bonggang 3-city tour sa Japan ngayong Oktubre

NASA bansang Japan ang Pinoy pop at alternative rock band na The Itchyworms ngayong darating na Oktubre.

Magkakaroon kasi sila roon ng three-city tour na magsisimula sa October 6 sa LIVE HOUSE GATTACA sa Kyoto.

Pagkatapos niyan ay magtatanghal din sila sa The Blarney Stone sa October 7, pati na rin sa Sengoku Daitouryou sa October 8 na parehong nasa Osaka.

Ang anunsyo ng banda ay ibinandera mismo nila sa kanilang social media pages kalakip ang ilang detalye ng kanilang concert.

“Mabuhay!!! @theitchyworms will be touring Japan this October!!!” wika pa sa post.

Sa inilabas naman na pahayag ng Sony Music, sinabi ng Itchyworms na asahang aawitin nila ang ilan sa mga hit songs nila, bukod pa sa mga kantang handog nila sa mga Hapon.

“There will be a lot of Filipino fans who will travel two or three hours just to see us live, so we will still be playing some hits,” saad ng banda.

Chika pa nila, “We will also be playing some other songs that we think will be appreciated by the Japanese musicians and audiences.”

“We feel that music is universal, and whether we sing in Filipino or in English, the audience will love it,” mensahe nila.

Bukod sa core members na sina Jazz Nicolas, Jugs Jugueta, at Kelvin Yu ay makakasama din nila sa tour ang new recruits na sina Mikey Amistoso at Weckl Mercado.

Kung maaalala, huling nag-perform ang banda sa Japan noong November 2022 sa naganap na “Tokyo Beyond Festival.”

Magugunita ngayong taon ay nag-release ng dalawang single ang Itchyworms.

Ito ang “Panic In My Mind,” ang kantang inialay ng banda para sa dating bandmate na si Chino Singsong na lumipat na sa Canada kasama ang pamilya, at ang “The Morning After” na inspired naman sa The Beatles song.
