“The 20th Sangguniang Panlungsod also passed a resolution condemning the Ama Namin Remix drag performance of Drag Queen Pura Luca Vega or Amadeus Fernando Pagente in real life,” Saad ng lokal na pamahalaan sa isang Facebook post.

Dagdag pa, “Along with that, Pagente was also declared as ‘persona non grata’ or an unwelcome person in General Santos City.”

“According to the body, while the City Council recognized the Freedom of Speech and Expression and Freedom to Travel of the performer, the resolution was meant to show the feelings and sentiments of the largely Christian population of the city,” paliwanag pa ng GenSan LGU.

Ibinandera niya ‘yan mismo sa kanyang Twitter account at may caption pa na, “Thank you for coming to church!”

Ayon sa Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), maituturing itong “mockery” at “blasphemous.”

Sey niya sa isang interview, “Paalala din po sa mga miyembro ng LGBT+ Community, always remember that each and everyone of us carries the rainbow flag so dapat let us always do good dahil kapag isang LGBT+ ang nagkamali sa lipunan buong komunidad ang hinuhusgahan.”

“Let us not do our own community a disservice. Umayos tayo! We have everything to gain if we do good or even better,” pagpapaalala pa ni Roman.
