“POWER!” Ganyan inilarawan ni Alexa Ilacad ang pagkakapili sa cast members ng pinakabagong drama series ng ABS-CBN at TV5, ang “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.”
Ito ang reunion teleserye nila ng kanyang ka-loveteam na si KD Estrada makalipas ang mahabang panahon. Makakasama rin nila rito sina Charlie Dizon, Elisse Joson, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Sunshine Dizon, Epy Quizon, Art Acuña, Markus Paterson at dating “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Argel Saycon.
Huling nagkasama sina Alexa at KD sa modern-day zarzuela ng PETA na “Walang Aray” at ngayon nga muli silang magtatambal sa bagong obra ng Dreamscape Entertainment na “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.”

“It’s been a really great experience working with KD. But for this show, to be specific, I think tinitimpla pa ako ni KD in a way kasi iba ‘yung binibigay ko for this show. Iba yung nae-embody ko for this show not just acting-wise,” ang pahayag ni Alexa sa grand presscon ng serye last July 13.
“But also personally ‘yung ugali ko, medyo I’m too focused on this and I think nakikita niya ‘yun sa akin because there are times na hindi na niya ako makausap. But he’s been handling it really, really well. He understands my cues and he knows how I feel and how to assist me,” chika ng aktres.
Aniya pa, “So para sa akin, it’s really great to have someone on set with me that really cares about me and is always there for my wellbeing and to support me also in my scenes. So I’m happy.”

Kuwento pa ni Alexa sa mga bagong challenge na hinarap nila para sa “PPP”,
“I would say para dito, kasi the story is a bit heavy so kami yung konting pakilig here and here, light banter here and there.
“Hindi naman I would say na para kaming aso’t pusa but we have this rapport or connection with each other sa characters namin.
“Like ako binobola bola ko siya palagi kasi may kailangan ako sa kanya, ganyan. So nilalaro ko kasi alam kong type niya ako. Parang ganu’n. So it would be hints of kilig here and there but of course our story focuses on yung magkakapatid na nagkahiwa-hiwalay,” aniya pa.

Tungkol naman sa cast members ng serye, “I believe that we’re all perfectly cast. So I’m so thankful to sir Deo (Edrinal), to Dreamscape, and to our creatives. When this was pitched to me at nalaman ko yung mga makakasama ko, I didn’t have to think twice.
“I thought this was perfect and kagaya nung title na Pira-pirasong Paraiso, I think we all complete each other, in a sense. Kaya pag nagkakasama kami sa isang eksena, power. Maingay!” natawang sabi ng dalaga.
Ang “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” ay mula sa direksyon ni Raymund Ocampo at mapapanood na simula sa July 25, 3 p.m. sa iba’t ibang platforms ng ABS-CBN at sa TV5.
