Miss Supranational first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx super proud sa nakamit na tagumpay, excited nang makauwi sa Pinas

NAGHAYAG ng lubos na pagmamahal sa Pilipinas, at todong pasasalamat sa mga Pilipino si Pauline Amelinckx makaraang hiranging first runner-up sa 2023 Miss Supranational pageant sa Poland noong Hulyo 14 (Hulyo 15 sa Maynila).
“All my love to you, Philippines [Philippine flag emoji],” sinabi ng Belgian-Filipino model at host mula Bohol sa Facebook ngayong Hulyo 16, kasama ang isang larawang nagpapakitang iwinawagayway niya ang bandera ng Pilipinas sa entablado ng Miss Supranational sa Strzelecki Park Amphitheater sa Nowy Sacz.

“It has been my greatest honor and pleasure to turn that ambition into reality and finally have been able to attach Philippines to my name [red heart emoji],” pagpapatuloy pa ni Amelinckx, na tatlong ulit sumali sa Miss Universe Philippines pageant bago nasungkit ang titulo bilang Miss Supranational Philippines.
Sinabi ni Amelinckx na nagtagumpay siya dahil sa “unwavering and ever-growing support” na natanggap mula sa mga taong naniwala sa kanya, at tumulong na hubugin siya bilang isang palabang Pilipinang ipinagmalaking ibandera ang bansa sa pandaigdigang entablado.
“I will have to make a separate post to thank the sea of people who lifted me up in this journey, but I really just wanted to share these thoughts and this victory with all of you,” aniya.
“It takes a great amount of dedication toward your own personal growth and belief in your own worth to see rejection as redirection. But one thing that I [learned] over the course of this journey is that we can tap into our inner strength to grow and bloom where life plants us,” dinagdag ni Amelinckx.

Nagpasalamat din siya sa mga taong tumulong na makapasok siya sa Top 24 dahil sa pagwawagi sa “Suprachat” challenge. “Thank you for every single vote, view, like, comment and prayer that you sent up for the Philippines in this journey,” aniya.
“I will be looking back and reflecting some more for a bit. But for now, know that I am immensely proud of our victory, grateful for the love, and excited to be back home. Daghang Salamat, Philippines [red heart emoji],” ibinahagi ni Amelinckx.

Ipinagbunyi rin ni Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) National Director Shamcey Supsup-Lee si Amelicnkx sa social media. “It may not have been the result we have wanted but I am so proud of how [Amelinckx] gave us a good fight! I really thought we had it in the bag. But no matter what, you are the winner in our hearts [red heart emoji]. Thank you for representing the [Philippine flag emoji][purple heart emoji],” aniya.
Hinayag din sa social media ni Empire Philippines Head at MUPH President Jonas Gaffud kung gaano siya ka-proud kay Amelinckx. Magkasama sina Gaffud at Lee sa Poland upang saksihan ang Miss Supranational at Mister Supranational contests.
Si Andrea Aguilera mula Ecuador ang nakasungkit sa korona mula sa hanay ng 65 kandidata sa ika-14 edisyon ng Miss Supranational pageant.
Nagtapos naman sa Top 20 ang pambato ng Pilipinas sa Mister Supranational contest na si Johannes Rissler. Itinanghal ang patimpalak noong Hulyo 15 (Hulyo 16 sa Maynila).
