KC napaiyak nang balikan ang muling pagsasama nila ni Gabby after 15 years: ‘It was such a memorable moment…’

KASABAY ng Father’s Day kahapon, nagkaroon ng special YouTube content ang batikang aktor na si Gabby Concepcion.
Ang kanyang naka-bonding sa naturang video ay walang iba kundi ang anak niya kay Megastar Sharon Cuneta na si KC Concepcion.
Sa nasabing video, nagkwentuhan ang mag-ama at binalikan ang ilang masasayang moments nila together.
At isa na nga riyan ‘yung muli silang nagkausap makalipas ang halos dalawang dekada.
Kwento ni Gabby, “I was in America and the first time you called me, I was doing real estate in California and then nilalabas ko lahat ng gamit ko sa kotse, eh malamig. ‘Nung nilalabas ko ‘yung mga envelope ko, nilalagay ko sa bubong, biglang nag-ring ‘yung telepono.”
“Pagsagot ko nu’ng telepono, may nagsabing ‘Hi, can I speak to Gabby Concepcion, please?’ I said ‘Hi, is this my baby?’ I knew it was you on the phone. I knew it,” chika niya.
Naalala naman ni KC na kinakabahan daw siya nu’ng panahon na ‘yun dahil matagal din daw niya hindi narinig ang boses ng kanyang ama.
“We haven’t talked kasi for many, many years,” sey ng actress-singer.

Dagdag naman ng veteran actor, “When you called that day, it was at the back of my head, sinasabi ko sa sarili ko, ‘One day, hahanapin ako nito. One day, tatawag ‘to. I don’t know when, but one day it’s gonna happen.’ It happened.”
Patuloy niya, “Maybe it’s at the back of my head already na I knew you were gonna call, I just didn’t know when.”
“I knew it was you and it’s you…I talked to you outside and I didn’t feel the cold until I went inside,” ani pa niya.
Kwento pa ni KC, naisipan niyang tawagan ang kanyang tatay noong hinihintay niya ang kanyang school bus.
“Nag-cut class ako that day because nag-usap tayo for the first time. It was the first time we reconnected,” sambit ng actress-singer.
Pagmamalaki pa niya, “It was such a memorable moment for me that I had to miss class.”
“I remember I was crying at the bus stop when we put the phone down kasi natulala ako after then I couldn’t believe na naririnig ko pa rin ‘yung voice mo in my ears even after we put the phone down,” naiiyak na sinabi ni KC.
Saad pa niya kay Gabby, “You made up for it talaga, like sobra-sobra.”
“You’re very, very involved and very, very present in my life in my adult years so you really made up for all the time we didn’t get to spend together. Parang it’s even better now,” aniya pa.
Kung maaalala, nitong Pebrero ay umuwi ng Pilipinas si KC at nag-bonding sila ni Gabby sa Batangas.
