Mega hindi papayag na basta na lang mabura ang tambalang Sharon-Gabby sa showbiz

GAME na game pa rin si Megastar Sharon Cuneta na makatambal uli ang kanyang ex-husband na si  Gabby Concepcion sa pelikula. 

Umaasa pa rin ang OPM at movie icon na matutuloy ang ilang beses nang na-cancel na reunion movie nila ng veteran actor at dating matinee idol.

Sa nakaraang virtual mediacon ng pelikulang “Revirginized” mula sa Viva Films, muling natanong si Mega kung payag pa rin ba siyang makatrabaho si Gabby.

“My movie with Gabby, kung matuloy, any movie with Gabby will be accepted, even if it turns out to be the most romantic in terms of scenes because we were once married.

“So people would be more accepting of that, I think. I’m ready a hundred percent to work with Gabby again. Wala naman kaming bad blood.

“And, you know, no matter what we do, no matter what we say or don’t say about each other, he will always be KC’s father.

“We were a family once too and I carried his name once. And we’ll always be connected because of our daughter so might as well have a good friendship,” dire-diretsong pahayag ni Shawie.

Sey pa ng Megastar, “And I’m very happy that’s he’s happy with his life now, his marriage, his family.

“And I’m happy being married to Kiko and having my family. And our daughter has grown up into a responsible adult, a successful one at that.

“So, I think to have and maintain a good friendship with Gabby would be very, very good not just for the two of us but for KC as well,” aniya pa.

Ipinagdiinan din ni Mega na gustung-gusto niyang mapagbigyan ang kanyang mga Sharonians na umaasang magkakasama uli sila sa movie ni Gabby at hindi rin daw niya hahayaang mabura sa Philippine movie industry ang loveteam nila ng aktor.

“I know that we have a following that grew up with us. I know that probably… although I’ve had some bigger hits with like Robin (Padilla) and Richard (Gomez) than some Gabby movies, kasi nag-stop yung pagpe-pair sa amin, I think a lot of people are waiting for that reunion movie.

“And I’m one of those people. So I just hope, before I retire, that we are able to come up with a movie, maybe even do concerts because he does concerts.

“We can do so much together still. We are still Sharon and Gabby. Nandiyan na ‘yon, and I think that will be in the history books, in the annals of Philippine movie history.

“I do not want that to be erased. I’m proud of that team up,” lahad pa ng singer-actress at dating TV host.

Sa nasabi ring presscon, napag-usapan ang tungkol sa kanila ni Sen. Kiko Pangilinan na hanggang ngayon ay 100% pa rin ang suportang ibinibigay sa kanya bilang artista.

Alam din daw nito ang lahat ng mga mapangahas na eksenang ginawa niya sa “Revirginized”, “Si Kiko kasi winarn ko na siya. I said, ‘I have this project. This is the story so I’ll be cussing here and saying words na you don’t hear me say.’

“I told him some of the words. And he said ‘Okay!’ Ganoon lang naman yung asawa ko. Very supportive ‘yan si Kiko pero hindi ko iniiwan, e!” Chika ni Sharon.

Aniya pa, “I have a very cool husband who’s very supportive of my career and is very smart. And he knows, that as an actor, I portray many roles and it can’t be just the same thing over and over and over again, especially at my age.

“Wala, walang kuwestiyon. Nothing! Even when I mentioned about I might work with this ex of mine, ‘Okay. Sana it pushes through na.’

“Ganoon siya. Very supportive, very secure. He’s never made me feel na parang hindi mo puwedeng gawin ‘yan.

“Hindi ko rin kasi kaya to live with somebody who will trap me in a cage and say, ‘You can’t do the things that you wanna do, you can’t be yourself.’

“Because I wanted a family but I didn’t want a dictator of a husband. I’m very bullheaded and strong-willed. I get that from my mom and her side of the family, as well as my father.

“So, I’m very meek because I want to be. I’m a good wife because I want to be. I am grateful because I have a husband who allows me to be myself,” pahayag pa ni Sharon.
