PUMANAW na ang dating Foreign Affairs Secretary na si Albert del Rosario.

Ang malungkot na balita nitong ay kinumpirma mismo ng kanyang anak na si Dr. Inge del Rosario sa INQUIRER.

“The family of Ambassador Albert Ferreros del Rosario is deeply saddened to announce his passing today, April 18, 2023. He was 83,” sey ng anak.

Kasabay niyan ay humiling ang pamilya na igalang ang kanilanv pribadong pagluluksa.

Aniya, “the family requests privacy during this difficult time.”

Kaagad namang nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang incumbent chief ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na si Enrique Manalo.

Saad sa kanyang social media post, “He was a consummate diplomat and an inspiring leader who held the DFA with integrity and unwavering commitment to public service.”

“You will be missed, Mr. Secretary,” dagdag niya.

Si del Rosario ang naging hepe ng DFA mula noong 2011 hanggang 2016 sa ilalim ng administrasyon ng yumaong dating pangulo na si Benigno Aquino III.

Bago pa matapos ang termino ni Aquino ay nagretiro sa pwesto si del Rosario due to health reasons.
