Dolly de Leon sa mga gustong makilala sa Hollywood, tanungin muna ang sarili: ‘Why do you want to be there?’
“When you were sitting and they were announcing the winners one by one with the claps and they were about to announce the winner, that drum roll moment. What was that feel like?” ang question na ibinato sa Kapamilya actress.

“Oh my gosh! It’s really hard to answer that question because, I don’t think I feel anything at that moment, I really don’t think, I think I’m suspended in some kind of which part of the universe, parang suspended in disbelief? Alam mo ‘yung ganu’n,” tugon ni Dolly.
“It’s hard to explain. Parang I know it’s real but at the same time, it’s also, kumbaga the next few seconds will more or less define you na agad as a person e, or your performance as an actor so, I’m going through a lot of different emotions at that point.

“Pero I’ll be honest with you, whenever another name is announced, I felt relieved. Honestly. That is not me. Because I don’t like the idea of standing up and going in front of all those people na ina-idolize ko and to talk in front of them and say thank you.
“So may ganu’ng factor, it’s so I cant answer your question, what I feel like what I am waiting for whose name to be announced but I do know, when I hear someone else’s name, I feel relief,” pag-amin ni Dolly.

“Well to all the actors trying their luck in the international scene, I think the first thing you had to do is to ask yourself.
“It is a very important question and that is WHY? Why do you want to be there, and based on the answer you get from yourself, explore that answer and check if you’re there for the right reasons.
“If you’re there for the right reason—and what are the right reasons? I mean there’s nothing wrong with fame and money but, your main reason should be all about finding the truth in the stories that we tell in the characters that we play,” pahayag pa niya.
“And if that is the answer, go out and study, read, get together with like minded people, other actors, film makers and have a discussion, have coffee and read scripts and do reading.
“Use your phone make your own films and explore and just keep doing things, because acting is doing. It’s not waiting so just keep doing it and keep working to get there,” ang dagdag pang payo ni Dolly.
