ALAM niyo na ba mga ka-bandera kung paano nagsimula ang showbiz career ng model-actress na si Solenn Heussaff?

Ikinuwento ‘yan mismo ni Solenn at ng kanyang close friend na TV host na si Raymond Gutierrez matapos ma-interview ng celebrity doctor na si Dra. Vicki Belo sa kanyang “Spill the Tea” YouTube vlog.

Sa umpisa ng interview ay itinanong agad ni Dra. Vicki kung paano nagkakilala ang dalawa.

Chika ni Mond, “We met because we have a lot of common friends and at that time in Manila – this is pre-date social media, we just kind of hit it off.”

Pagbubunyag naman ni Solenn, “Actually because I love drinking, Mond also likes drinking and he would be the only friend of the group that would be game to have a glass of wine at any time of the day at any time of the week.”

At mula riyan ay nakwento na ni Mond na bago pa man mag-artista si Solenn ay naging makeup artist niya ito sa kanyang shows.

Ayon pa sa TV host, target talaga ni Solenn na makilala sa pagiging professional makeup artist.

“At the time, she was doing a little bit of modeling but parang she wanted makeup to be also her main thing,” sey ni Mond.

Chika pa niya, “So I started asking her, ‘Sos, you know, why don’t you do my makeup for my shows and let’s see how it turns out for you. Maybe I can suggest you for ads in the future’ things like that.”

“So she started coming with me sa GMA, like, to my hosting gigs and doing my makeup. And obviously, when she walks in the room, everyone was like, ‘who’s that girl? Is that Mond’s makeup artist?,” aniya pa.

Dagdag pa ni Solenn, bukod kay Mond ay naging makeup artist din siya ng mga kapatid nito na si Ruffa at Richard.

“After doing Mond’s makeup for a long time, he suggested me to her sister. That’s why I did Ruffa’s makeup for a while and then I did Richard’s makeup pa for a teleserye,” kwento naman ni Solenn.

Sabi ni Mond, kahit walang interes sa pag-aartista ang kanyang kaibigan ay tila nakatakda itong tahakin ang showbiz career.

Sabi ng TV host, “Doon siya na-discover. As in like, she was starting to do makeup and she really wanted to hone that talent and really make something herself in that lane, it just so happened that Solenn is built to be the star.”

“She’s not built to be behind the scenes. So it was like a natural progression that she became a star and you know, you’re doing ‘Survivor’ at that time,” proud na sinambit ni Mond.

Pero para kay Solenn, ang Gutierrez family ang talagang dahilan kaya siya naging artista.

“Yeah, but the Gutierrez family is the reason who – it’s because of you guys,” sey niya.

Nabunyag din sa interview na si Mond ang dahilan kaya sumali sa Kapuso reality show na “Survivor Philippines” si Solenn noong 2010.

“I honestly pushed her, I was, like, forced her, I’m like ‘Sos, they’re looking for a survivor…you’re so walang arte, you’re so game’ and I know her, she’s the type na who can really do this show and really win,” chika ni Mond kay Dra. Vicki.

Ani pa, “So if you see past Solenn in ‘Survivor’ as in I’m like, wow sobrang idol.”

Nang matapos na nga ang nasabing reality show, pagkasunod-sunod na ang proyekto ni Solenn.

Kabilang na riyan ang “My Valentine Girls,” “Captain Barbell,” “Temptation Island,” “Mumbai Love,” at marami pang iba.
