Kim Chiu sa Best Female TV Host award: ‘Grabe first ko ito! Legit na ako, may resibo…I want to cry’

EMOSYONAL na nagpasalamat sa madlang pipol si Kim Chiu para sa kanyang first ever hosting award mula sa 35th Star Awards for Television.
Ito’y para sa pagiging host niya sa Kapamilya noontime programa na “It’s Showtime” kung saan tinalo niya ang ilan sa mga veteran at magagaling ding host sa bansa.
Hindi napigilan ni Kim ang maluha habang nagbibigay ng mensahe para sa kanyang pagkapanalo sa nakaraang episode ng kanilang everyday variety show sa ABS-CBN.
“Thank you, Showtime. Grabe first award ko ito, legit na ako. Legit na ako, thank you so much. May resibo. I want to cry,” pahayag ni Kim.
“Kasi hindi ko naman strength ang hosting. Naglalaro lang naman tayo rito, feeling ko. Pero salamat sa ‘Showtime’ dahil binibigyan niyo ako ng pagkakataon.
“Every day binibigyan niyo ako ng endless chances at endless opportunity. At ‘yung award na ‘yan kasi first award ko,” aniya pa.

Pinasalamatan din ng dalaga ang kanyang loyal fans, “Sa lahat po ng sumusuporta sa akin at laging tumatawa sa mga jokes ko kahit waley, salamat mabuhay kayong lahat. Let’s share good vibes everyday. Thank you ‘Showtime.’ I love you all.”
Samantala, nag-post din ang girlfriend ni Xian Lim sa Instagram ng kanyang message sa madlang pipol para sa natanggap na award.
“What a way to start the year! Thank you PMPC Star Awards for this recognition.
“From guest co-host to regular host, from face shield to no face shield. From bashing to brushing it off and using it as constructive criticism, I used those words not to put me down but used them as a weapon to do better in what I am doing,” lahad ng aktres.
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Kim, “Hosting is not my strength with my voice; years ago, when I started showbiz, Mr. M pushed me to attend series of workshops in voice modulation. Di ko gets before but now nahilot naman ng konte.”
Inamin niyang hindi na-imagine ang sarili na magiging TV host, “Never have I thought na makakapag host ako. From the bottom of my heart, I feel grateful to my ABS-CBN Family, Star Magic Family, and, of course, my SHOWTIME family. For not giving up on me and for all the trust na binibigay nila sa akin.”
“Every day is a learning experience, and every day is endless opportunities and chances.
“First award as a host and I’m over the moon. Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat.
“Sa lahat ng nakikitawa sa jokes ko thank you po, sa mga di naman, I’ll do better and siyempre sa mga co-host ko SALAMAT sa laging pag alalay at pag gabay sa akin.
“Love you, fam!!! Salamat din po sa lahat ng nag mamahal at sumusuporta sa akin,” dagdag pa ni Kimmy.
Nagsimulang maging host ng “Showtime” si Kim noong September 28, 2020, at kasagsagan pa ng COVID-19 pandemic.
“Thank you for welcoming me and for allowing me to be part of the program.
“I’m really happy that I will get to spend every day and have fun with the ‘madlang people.’ Thank you very much. Kapamilya Forever,” ang bahagi ng kanyang speech noong unang tapak niya sa stage ng “Showtime.”
