2 kasong isinampa laban kay Jomari Yllana ng dating dyowa ibinasura

BAGO tuluyang magpaalam ang 2022, nakatanggap pa ng isang bonggang-bonggang good news ang actor-public servant na si Jomari Yllana.
Ito ay ang pagkaka-dismiss ng dalawang kasong isinampa sa kanya ng dating partner na si Joy Reyes Bernabe sa Quezon City Office of the Prosecutor — ang cyberlibel at physical abuse.
Ayon sa 10-page resolution na inilabas noong October 28, 2022 ni Assistant City Prosecutor Victorino L. Badua, Jr., nadismis ang mga inihaing reklamo kay Jomari “due to lack of jurisdiction and for insufficient evidence.”
“This resolves the present complaint for Violation of RA 9262 (VAWC) and violation of RA 10175 (Cybercrime Libel), claiming that she was a victim of physical, psychological and economic abuses, and of libelous statements on social media,” ang bahagi ng nasabing resolusyon.
Recommending approval of the resolution was Rossana Morales Mantojo, Senior Assistant City Prosecutor, and approved by Vimar M. Barcellano, City Prosecutor.

Kasalukuyang nanunungkulan si Jomari bilang councilor sa Parañaque City. Magkasama sila ngayong nagseserbisyo publiko ng partner niyang aktres na si Abby Viduya.
“I can only hope for the best in the interest of my two children from that partnership,” ang pahayag ni Jomari matapos malaman ang pagkakabasura sa mga kasong isinampa sa kanya ng dating live-in partner.
Matatandaang kinasuhan ni Joy si Jomari matapos umanong ipagkalat ng aktor na may kinalaman siya sa paghihiwalay nina Paolo Contis at LJ Reyes.
Mariin itong pinabulaanan ni Joy sa naging sagot niya sa isang netizen, “Not true po. And Jomari Yllana is already facing a Cyber Libel case because of that… On top of the VAWC case for all the abuse.”
