MAY tatlong magic word na ibinahagi ang Kapuso broadcast journalist na si Vicky Morales para sa lahat ng mga kabataang nangangarap ding maging mamamahayag.
In fairness, mula noon hanggang ngayon ay napanatili ni Vicky ang kanyang kredibilidad sa larangan ng pagbabalita at binansagan pa ngang “journalist with a heart”.
Sey ng Kapuso news anchor, may tatlong mahahalagang katangian siyang nais ibahagi sa lahat ng mga gustong maging journalist at yan ay ang pagkakaroon ng integridad, passion at ang pakikisama.
“Make sure that the integrity is intact because that’s a big part of the equation. And then after that, have the passion for it.
“You should know na talagang you will lose sleep, you’ll spend a lot of hours in front of your laptop screen, magsusulat ka, and siyempre uupuan mo rin ‘yung editing kasi you’re a part of the entire process.
“That for me are the most important, yung integrity, ‘yung passion mo para sa trabaho mo, ‘yung ability mo to be a team player. And of course, you have to love what you do. You have to really love your work,” lahad ni Vicky sa isang interview.

Tatlong dekada na siyang namamayagpag bilang Public Affairs host at broadcast journalist, na mas napalapit pa sa masang Filipino dahil sa programa niyang “Wish Ko Lang.”
“It’s really a passion, maybe it’s a passion project for me. I feel that there’s still a lot that I can contribute and I still feel that I’m still in the part of progress.
“For as long as I can contribute something, I will be here and for as long as I can be relevant, I will be here to give what I can.
“And it’s something that I enjoy doing at the same time. It’s a lot of work, mahirap talaga siya minsan.
“Pero ‘yung saya naman na nakukuha mo, natutumbasan naman lahat ng hirap na talagang ginugugol mo rito sa trabahong ito. So it’s something that I like to do for a very long time,” dagdag pang pahayag ni Vicky.
