Heaven Peralejo, Marco Gallo feel na feel agad ang love sa isa’t isa bago pa sumabak sa shooting ng ‘The Rain In España’

IKINATUWA ng mga fans ang unang pagtatambal ng dating “Pinoy Big Brother” teen housemates na sina Marco Gallo at Heaven Peralejo sa isang napakagandang project.
Na-excite nang bonggang-bongga ang kani-kanilang supporters sa bago nilang proyekto, ang 10-part series na “The Rain in España” directed by Theodore Boborol under Viva Entertainment.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na magiging magka-loveteam sina Marco at Heaven makalipas ang anim na taon pagkalabas nila ng Bahay ni Kuya.
Pero ayon sa dalawa, hindi naman nawala ang kanilang connection kaya naman nang malaman nila na sila ang bibida sa sikat na Wattpad series na “The Rain in España” pareho silang na-excite.
“I’m super grateful that I am given this kind of project that will really challenge my being an actress, which I love. I feel like every role that I take is really different.
“I’m really grateful to the team behind this who really chose me to be included in this project. I am just really doing my best,” pahayag ni Heaven.
Ang phenomenal University Series sa Wattpad, na mayroong 550 million combined reads, ay mapapabilang na sa mga sikat na book-to-screen adaptations mula sa Viva.
Mula sa panulat ni Gwy Saludes (mas kilala bilang 4reuminct), ang seryeng ito ay binubuo ng anim na love story na nagsimula sa mga pangunahing unibersidad sa Pilipinas.
Ang “The Rain in España” ay iikot sa pag-iibigan ng isang taga-UST at isang Atenista. Ang romantic comedy series na ito ay magkakaroon ng 10 episodes.
Si Heaven ay gaganap bilang si Louisse Natasha Valeria, or Luna for short. Kumukuha siya ng Architecture sa UST. Masayahin kung titignan pero seryoso ito sa kanyang pag-aaral. Maalalahanin ito sa mga kaibigan, pero isang lalaki ang pupukaw ng puso niya.
Si Marco naman ay si Kalix Jace Martinez, kumukuha ng Legal Management sa Ateneo. Gwapo, mayaman at matalino, pero may pagka-misteryoso.
Alam niyang pagdodoktor ang gusto ng kanyang ina para sa kanya, kaya nakakadagdag pa ito sa mga stress niya sa eskwela. At darating pa nga si Luna na talagang magpapapansin sa kanya.

Sa kabila ng pagkakamabutihan ng dalawa, tila nakatakdang mauwi sa hiwalayan ang kanilang relasyon. Ano nga ba ang dahilan nito?
At makalipas ang 10 taon, magkikita silang muli. Isa nang head architect si Luna habang corporate laywer na si Kalix. Paano muling mabubuhay ang kanilang pagmamahalan? Kaya na ba nilang panindigan ngayon ang kanilang relasyon?
“After I read the book, I realized sobrang relatable niya. Grabe, may mga personalities ako doon. ‘Yung pagkakulit ni Luna, ‘yung banter niya. I like it. I like how I can imagine myself. I was really thrilled the whole time I was reading the book.
“When I learned it was Marco who will play my Kalix, I imagined it right away para ma-in love na ako agad sa character niya. Even my set of friends, I imagined how we would be together. From the workshop, we had a night out. Sobrang click kaming lahat,” sey ni Heaven.
Sabi naman ni Marco, “The character was real-life to me and it’s way easier for me to portray as well. While reading the book, I was doing the same thing, imagining Heaven.
“It was kind of reminiscing the two of us back in the day when we first met. I guess we are doing the same thing all over again,” aniya pa.
Pag-amin pa ng aktor, “When I was told I was going to audition for ‘The Rain in España,’ I wasn’t really familiar with the material. After I auditioned and got the role a couple of weeks later, that was the only time I read the book and I really, really liked it.
“They told me the story is rom-com and I’ve been working on rom coms in this industry. Sometimes, it’s just too cheesy for me. But this one, I’m actually getting really happy with every single thought, every single character in the book.
“I really appreciate I was given this project. It was a slow process for me. It didn’t sink in right away this was a big project. There was so much preparations in the workshop, in the details they were giving about every single character.
“So many meaning on the preparations on the script-reading, the workshops. This is probably the biggest project that I will be doing,” sey ni Marco.
Tungkol naman sa pagtatambal nila ni Heaven for the first time, “You have to find that comfortability. But I know that it was going to be Heaven, I knew this project will be easy.
“It was like six years between us never happened. The first week saw each other again, we made a promise to each other that we will be working again and we will make everything right,” lahad pa ni Marco.
Makakasama rin sa serye sina Krissha Viaje, Aubrey Caraan, Nicole Omillo, Gab Lagman, Andre Yllana, Francis Magundayao, Gabby Padilla at Frost Sandoval.
