Bianca Gonzalez may babala ukol sa pag-follow sa social media: Choose wisely!
PINAALALAHANAN ng Kapamilya TV host na si Bianca Gonzalez sa mga netizens patungkol sa mga taong pina-follow ng mga ito sa social media.
Sa kanyang Twitter account ay sinabihan niya ang madlang pipol na dapat ay maging maingat ang mga ito sa pag-follow dahil baka maging “echo chambers” nila ito.
“Who you follow on social media becomes your echo chamber, so choose wisely and have a good balance of followed accounts that will keep you curious and open-minded,” saad ni Bianca.
Aniya, mapanganib raw ang mga echo chambers lalo na kung ito ay one-sided lamang.
Pagpapatuloy ni Bianca, “Automatic friction point din kasi ang feed with different hot takes. Kasi pag scroll mo and it’s all similar opinions, that gets louder in our head and we tend to react faster.
“But if you scroll and its different points, it makes us think, ‘wait, what do I really think of this?’”

Sey pa ng Kapamilya TV host, hindi naman porke hinahangaan ng isang tao ang kanyang pina-follow ay nangangahulugan na agad na parehas sila ng pinaniniwalaan o sang-ayon na agad sila sa opinyon o pananaw ng mga ito.
“And yes, that is important. Taking the time to figure out what YOU think, that isn’t necessarily the same as those you follow.. pwedeng same, pwedeng similar ‘but this or that’, pwedeng iba,” sabi pa ni Bianca.
Giit pa niya, “And that matters, that’s integrity, something others cannot take away from you.”
Marami naman ang sumang-ayon sa mga sinabi ni Bianca.
“I found that same goes to radio stations and anchors. After listening to only one anchor, I’ve noticed that my views and opinions have conformed with his. As soon as I realized that, I started switching to different stations and now listening to different anchors to find balance,” comment ng isang netizen.
Saad pa ng isa, “Read multiple sources of credible news organizations both local and foreign before duking it out on Twitter. Be informed not misled. But then again, the majority are a bunch of rabid fanatics so I’m fine that they stay out of my feed.”
“Same sentiment po ms. Bianca. Kailangan din mas lawakan ang mga binabasa hindi yung kung ano lng yung post ng iba,” dagdag pa ng isa.
