Sharon Cuneta nagdadalamhati sa pagpanaw ni Cherie Gil: It is the end of an era now that you’ve left us
LABIS ang pagdadalamhati ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa pagpanaw ng isa sa kanyang malalapit na kaibigan at isa sa mga batikang aktres sa industriya na si Cherie Gil.
Sa kanyang Instagram post ay ibinahagi niya na lumipad siya papuntang New York kahapon upang puntahan ang kaibigan.
“I flew to New York early yesterday with a heavy heart,still forcing it to hang on to that sliver of hope of God performing a miracle & allowing you to pull through this,” panimula ni Sharon.
Nagpapasalamat rin siya sa Diyos dahil bago pa man ang malungkot na pagpanaw ni Cherie ay nagkaroon pa sila ng ilang sandali para magkasama.
“I am eternally grateful to Him for giving us the few hours we spent together…the love & words yet again exchanged in person…the knowledge that the friendship forged when we were very young was stronger & would only keep getting so,” pagbabahagi ni Sharon.
Pagpapatuloy niya, “We said “I love you” & I said I’d see you again today… & you raised both arms and gave me the thumbs up with both hands.”
Ngunit ilang oras matapos nilang maghiwalay ay nakatanggap siya ng tawag ukol sa tuluyang paglisan ng kaibigan.

“I leave New York now with a much heavier heart than ever before…because now I am leaving YOU with the knowledge that I will NEVER see you again,” malungkot na saad ni Sharon.
Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin maproseso ang mga pangyayari lalo na’t pinakiusapan pa niya ang kaibigan na lumaban at hindi siya pwedeng iwan ng kaniyang itinuturing na “partner” ngunit kinuha na ito ng Panginoon pati na rin lahat ng sakit nadarama nito.
“It will never be the same without you.I will never be the same without you.I told you that you had to fight,please,because you couldn’t leave me & that you were my partner,that there is no one like you…You said yes.But God took you home,took all your pain away,” sey ni Sharon.

Dagdag pa niya, “My heart is in pieces again & now I dunno how to put it back together anymore-because among the many loved ones I have lost these past few years,you were &always will be one of my most loved…a most important part of my life & my history. Of my heart. I love you so very much.”
Aniya, hindi pa rin daw niya alam kung ano ang gagawin dahil sa lahat ng mga malalapit sa kanya na pumanaw ngayong taon ay si Cherie ang pinaka malapit at importante sa kanyang buhay.

Matatandaang naging mag-bestfriends sina Sharon Cuneta at Cherie magmula nang pagbidahan nila ang iconic movie na “Bituing Walang Ningning” na nasundan pa ng isa pang hit movie na “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas”.
