Wax figure ni Catriona Gray sa Madame Tussauds Singapore ibinandera na: Kiliiiig akoooo!
FINALLY, makalipas ang dalawang taong pagkaka-delay, ibinandera na ng Madame Tussauds Singapore ang wax figure ni Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
Hindi agad nai-launch ang bonggang-bonggang wax figure ng Pinay beauty queen nang dahil nga sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Sa kanyang Instagram page, ibinahagi ngayong araw ni Catriona ang kanyang wax figure na kinopya sa kanyang winning look nang kinoronahan siya bilang Miss Universe sa Thailand noong December, 2018.
Nakasuot ang wax figure ni Catriona ng Philippine sash at ang replica ng kanyang trademark ear cuff at ang nag-viral at nag-trending niyang “Mayon” gown na dinisenyo ni Mak Tumang.
Ang caption na inilagay ni Catriona sa kanyang IG post ay, “Who’s that girl? What a surreal moment to (FINALLY!) launch my very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore after 3 years! Kiliiiig akoooo!”
Dagdag pa ng Filipina-Australian beauty queen feeling “honored and flattered” siya na mabigyan ng wax figure sa Madame Tussauds Singapore.
Naka-display na ito Film and TV zone ng museum with matching interactive zone paandar kung saan maaaring i-try ng mga visitors ang famous lava walk ni Catriona.

Pagpapatuloy pa ng dalaga, “For those that are curious! Mak Tumang created an ah-mazing replica lava gown!
“The small differences on the neck line are to hide the ‘seams’ where the head of the wax figure fit onto the body!
“The lava gowns mesh base presented a challenge but Mak masterfully worked around these!” pahayag pa ng girlfriend ni Sam Milby.
Ipinaliwanag din niya kung bakit walang Miss Universe sash at crown ang kanyang wax figure, “Because the interactive concept is to ‘LavaWalk’ with me.
“Also as the only Filipino in MT Singapore, it brings me so much pride to have the PHILIPPINES sash front and center,” esplika pa ni Cat.
Noong January, 2020 naibalita na magkakaroon na rin si Catriona ng wax figure sa Madame Tussauds Singapore just in time for her 26th birthday.
Bukod kay Cat, ang iba pang Filipino celebrities na Madame Tussauds wax figure ay sina Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach at ang Pambansang Kamao na si Manny Pacquiao.
