KAHIT hindi naiuwi ang titulo at korona ng Miss Universe 2021 ay abot-langit pa rin ang kaligayahang nararamdaman ng bet ng Pilipinas na si Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
Para sa Pinay beauty queen, isang malaking karangalan na rin ang mapasama sa Top 5 finalists ng international pageant na ginanap sa Eliat, Israel nitong Lunes ng umaga, Dec. 13.
“Well, I’m just really happy that I was able to deliver a really good performance for the Filipino people, especially that majority of the audience are Filipinos.
“Of course, I wanted to show them what we are capable of, really do my best. So, I’m very satisfied with everything that I did, and no regrets.
“Alam kong naibigay ko lahat so walang mga doubts and I’m really happy that we were able to reach the Top 5,” pahayag ni Bea sa panayam ni Dyan Castillejo.
Inamin ni Bea na habang ina-announce ang Top 16, Top 10, at Top 5 ay hindi raw siya nakaramdam ng matinding kaba, “Surprisingly, hindi po. Usually, I feel nervous even during rehearsals, kinakabahan ako.
“Pero kanina, parang… kasi it was the last that we will be up on that stage and makakasama ko yung mga delegates. I was just really enjoying the moment and doing my best.
“Ibinigay ko na po lahat, sa experience ko kanina. Just really happy with the result,” sabi pa ng Cebuana beauty queen.
Nagsimula lang daw siyang kabahan nang magsimula na ang Q&A portion para sa Top 5 candidates ngunit nawala rin ito habang sinasagot niya ang tanong.
Happy din daw siya sa hinirang na Miss Universe this year, ang representative ng India na si Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu. Aniya, naging close na rin sila ni Miss India sa maikling panahon ng kanilang pagsasama.
Ani Bea, “Si Miss India, she’s one of our roommates, and we all knew na siya po talaga yung mananalo.
“We are all rooting for her, kasi nga she works really hard, and there are even times na sobrang pressured niya na tinutulungan namin siya.
“So, we’re very happy for her. We know what she’s capable of and we’re very happy with the result. We’re proud of her,” sey pa ng dalaga.

Nanalong 1st Runner-up si Nadia Ferreira ng Paraguay habang si Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane ang itinanghal na 2nd Runner-up.
Sa huli, pinasalamatan din ni Bea nang bonggang-bongga ang sambayanang Filipino sa suporta at pagmamahal na ibinigay sa kanya, lalo na ang Pinoy audience sa Red Sea Resort, ang venue ng grand coronation night ng Miss Universe 2021.
Ngayong araw, Dec. 14, inaasahang babalik sa bansa si Bea.
