“NEVER give up!” Yan ang isa sa major-major life lesson na natutunan ni Chie Filomeno sa ilang linggong pananatili sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya.
Isa si Chie sa mga celebrity housemates sa mga unang natanggal sa “Pinoy Big Brother Season 10” ng ABS-CBN na umani rin ng mga positibo at negatibong reaksyon mula sa mga manonood.
Nakachikahan ng ilang entertainment media si Chie sa kanyang official launch bilang Ginebra San Miguel’s 2022 Calendar Girl.
Sa unang bahagi ng event, natanong ang dalaga kung ano ang naging buhay niya noong kasagsagan ng pandemya at nang halos lahat ay nasa bahay lamang.
“This whole pandemic I realized that you really have to take care of yourself. Prior to the pandemic, siyempre tayo puro tayo work here and there.
“We keep ourselves busy na kahit stressed tayo parang yun yung escape natin yung work. Pero parang naging blessing in disguise yung pandemic becaue we were able to sit down and think about what’s really important like yung health natin and especially our mental health.
“Siyempre we had our breakdowns sa pandemic pero to be able to rest your mind, yun talaga yung natutunan ko,” aniya pa.

At tungkol nga sa pagiging housemate sa “PBB 10”, super proud daw siya desisyon niyang pumasok sa Bahay ni Kuya, wala raw siyang kahit anong pagsisising naramdaman.
“Lahat naman ng pumasok sa PBB we all have projects here outside and entering PBB was a make it or break it for me.
“Yun yung iniisip ko kasi one of the bosses told me na, ‘You have already millions of followers pero bakit mo pa gusto pumasok ng PBB?’
“So I told them, ‘For me, yung numbers na yun is just numbers. I want to prove to them that there’s more to what they see on social media and I think PBB was the greatest platform for me to showcase who I really am, who Chie is, and si Kuya naman super supportive na ipinakita nga niya sa outside world kung sino si Chie,” paliwanag ng dalaga.

Ano naman ang biggest lesson na natutunan niya habang nasa loob ng “PBB” house? “What’s so funny is that ito rin yung sinasabi ng parents ko and natutunan ko rin kay Kuya is to never give up. Because what if you’re an inch close to that success tapos you start giving up?
“Sayang lahat ng effort, dugo’t pawis na inilaan mo para du’n sa bagay na yun. Isa pa to never judge people because we’re all going through something. We just have to be really kind and understand people and where they’re coming from and why they act a certain way.
“So in a nutshell, just never give up kasi sayang lahat ng pagod and lahat ng sumusuporta sa ‘yo nandiyan sa likod mo na nag-ga-guide sa’yo so you really have to be strong,” chika pa niya na naging kontrobersyal pa dahil sa extra closeness nila ng kapwa housemate na si Kyle Echarri.
