Siya ay 92 years old.

“She was an excellent mother to all of us, five boys and one girl, ako. At age 10, around 1960, she made me her protégée, teaching me voice acting, kaya alam ko ang tawang mayaman, tawang mahirap at tawang hostess,” pagbabalik-tanaw pa ng veteran actress.

“I’m both happy and sad in a way. Happy dahil, finally, nakita ko na finally ang nanay ko at nakaligtas sa COVID, hindi ike-cremate, fighting for her life, practically.

“Hindi po siya nakakapagsalita, this makes me very sad.

“Another thing that I learned in this experience is everything is impermanent—your youth, your beauty, your strength one day will all fade away.

“So, siguro para sa ating lahat, habang nandito tayo, habang malakas tayo, habang meron tayong kagandahan, appreciate natin ang ating sarili, self-love.

“Let us not be tough on ourselves. Let us be gentle with ourselves and just be grateful for everything that God has given to us because it will not last forever. One day, we’ll have to take that journey into God’s kingdom,” mahabang mensahe pa ng beteranang aktres at komedyana.
