‘Economic cha-cha moves’ sa Kamara pinababantayan ni De Lima

Hinimok ni Senator Leila de Lima ang sambayanan na bantayan ang mga hakbang para ma-amyendahan ang 1987 Constitution.

Kasabay ito ng kanyang babala sa mga panganib ng pagbabago sa “economic provisions” ng Konstitusyon dahil maaring maging pinto ito para mapangasiwaan at kontrolin ng mga banyaga ang ilang sektor sa bansa.

“Ngayon, binubuhay na naman nila ang ang cha-cha. But this time, they try a different tack–economic. Sinusubukan nila ang economic cha-cha sa pag-aakalang wala ritong masyadong aalma. Nagkakamali sila,” aniya.

Ibinahagi din ng senadora ang kanyang pangamba na gamitin ng kasalukuyang administrasyon ang ‘economic cha-cha moves’ sa Kamara para iposisyon ang mas marami pang negosyanteng Chinese nationals sa bansa.

Ang ikinababahala dito ng senadora ay malagay sa kompormiso ang pakikipag-agawan ng Pilipinas sa China sa kahit sa kinikilalang angkin nating teritoryo.

“China is rich and they would not entertain second thoughts if sabotaging our economy would advance their expansionist agenda in the South China Sea and their project of setting up a hegemony in the region,” dagdag pa ni De Lima.
