‘Belle Douleur’ pasok sa Asian filmfest sa Barcelona, Spain
ANG saya-saya ng Quantum Films producer na si Atty. Joji Alonso dahil bukod sa maganda ang feedback sa sitcom na “Oh My Dad” sa TV5 ay nakatanggap pa siya ng isa pang good news.
Ayon kay Atty. Joji ang kanyang first directorial film na “Belle Douleur” na na nakasama sa Cinemalaya 2019 at ipinalabas din sa iWant ay isa rin sa 22 pelikulang napili para sa Asian Film Festival sa Barcelona, Spain.
Pero ang nakakamangha para sa Quantum producer ay magkasama sila ni Direk Lav Diaz sa Panorama section.
Base sa post ng director-lawyer sa kanyang Facebook account, “Belle Douleur is among 22 films currently competing in the Panorama Section of the Asian Film Festival in Barcelona. And we are pitted against the film of no less than THE multi awarded Lav Diaz. Such an honor and shocking surprise!”
Tinag niya ang mga kasama sa “Belle Douleur” na sina Milen Dijon, Keith San Esteban, Marlon Rivera, Jenny Jamora, Ricky Lee, Therese Cayaba, Patricia Sumagui, Mycko David, Angel Diesta, Marinette Lusanta, Lexter Favor Tarriela, Marya Ignacio, Len Calvo at Mikko Quizon.
Nagpasalamat siya kay Ferdy Lapuz na siyang nag-asikaso para mapasama sa nasabing festival at siyempre ang co-producer niyang sina Deo Endrinal for Dreamscape Entertainment, iWantTFC at Cinemalaya.
Chinat namin si Atty. Joji para batiin at hindi nga raw siya makakadalo dahil tumataas na naman ang COVID case sa Europe.
“Naku, nagulat ako nang sobra when I found out. Diyos ko, what an honor to be part of that section. Most grateful.
“I wish though I could be there and witness the foreign audience watch the film. But the fact that we are alive and healthy is more precious,” sagot sa amin ng producer-director.
Sampung Filipino films ang kasama sa nasabing festival para sa iba-ibang section habang sa main competition naman ay nakapasok ang pelikulang “Mindanao” ni Judy Ann Santos at idinirek ni Brillante Mendoza.
“Tapos ang next in line is Panorama section kami ni Lav tapos sa Net Pac may dalawa (pelikula) ring kasama,’’ say ni Atty. Joji. ouleur, mindanao, judy ann santos, asian filmfest.
