Pagasa nagbabala sa delubyong dala ng Super Typhoon Rolly; pinakamatinding storm signal itinaas na

Idineklara ang pinakamataas na Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 5 sa mga lalawigan ng Albay at Camarines Sur sa Bicol Region habang nagbabala ang Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration  sa malaking delubyong idudulot ng Super Typhoon Rolly.

Makararanas ng “catastrophic at violent” na hangin at lubhang matinding pag-ulan sa loob ng dataging na 12 oras  ang Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, ang hilagang bahagi ng  Sorsogon, Burias Island, Marinduque, ang gitna at katimugang bahagi ng Quezon, Laguna, at silangang bahagi ng Batangas.

Nagbabala ang Pagasa na magiging mapanganib ang bagyo sa mga nabanggit na lugar.

Namataan ang mata ng Super Typhoon Rolly ganap na 7:20 ng umaga ngayong Linggo sa lugar ng Tiwi, Albay. Kumikilos ito pa-kanluran sa bilis na 25 kilometro kada oras.

May taglay na hangin ito na 225 kilometro kada oras at pagbugso ng hangin na umaabot sa 310 kilometro kada oras.

Naganap ang second landfall ng bagyo sa Tiwi, Albay ganap na 7:20 ng umaga. Kaninang madaling araw naman ito unang tumama sa kalupaan sa Bato, Catanduanes.

Inaasahang tatawid ang sentro ng bagyo sa lalawigan ng Camarines bago tumungo sa lugar ng Marinduque at katimugan ng Quezon ngayong hapon.

Ayon sa Pagasa, lilisanin ng bagyo ang kalupaan ng mainland Luzon at tatahak patungo sa West Philippine Sea ngayong gabi o bukas ng maaga.

Inaasahang hihina ito habang rumaragasa sa Southern Luzon at muling lalakas habang nasa lugar ng West Philippine Sea.

Nakataas ang iba’t ibang antas ng wind signal sa kalakhang bahagi ng Luzon at pati na rin sa Kabisayaan.
