MULA sa mahigit 100 lindol, 38 volcano-tectonic earthquake na lamang ang naitala sa Bulkang Kanlaon.
Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology naitala ang 38 lindol sa loob ng 24 oras mula kahapon hanggang kanilang alas-8 ng umaga kanina.
Isa sa mga lindol ay may lakas na magnitude 3.6 lindol batay sa Philippine Seismic Network. Nagdulot ito ng Intensity III sa La Carlota City at Intensity II sa Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Nagkaroon din ng ‘moderate emission’ ng putting usok na umabot sa taas na 300 metro.
“DOST-PHIVOLCS would like to remind the public that Kanlaon Volcano is at Alert Level 1, which means that it is at an abnormal condition and has entered a period of unrest.”
Ipinaalala rin ng Phivolcs na nananatiling bawal pumasok sa 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ).
