IPINAGTANGGOL ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque si Health Secretary Francisco Duque III sa harap naman ng mga batikos laban sa kanya matapos namang sabihin na nasa second wave na ang Pilipinas sa mga kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Secretary Francisco Duque III serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, in this challenging time,” sabi ni Roque.
Binawi ng DOH ang naunang pahayag ni Duque na second wave na ang kaso ng COVID sa bansa matapos namang kontrahin mismo ito ng Palasyo.
“Secretary Duque will answer allegations in the proper forum but for now let us allow him to do his job during this global health emergency,” dagdag ni Roque.
