EPD headquarters naka-lockdown, 24 pulis positive sa Covid-19
NAGPATUPAD ng lockdown sa headquarters ng Eastern Police District matapos magpositibo ang 24 pulis nito sa coronavirus disease 2019.
Ayon kay EPD director Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan magsasagawa ng disinfection sa headquarters habang naka-lockdown ito. Ang headquarters ay malapit sa Pasig City Hall.
Huwebes sinimulan ang lockdown at magtatagal ito hanggang sa Mayo 17.
Karamihan umano sa mga pulis na nagpositibo ay nakatalaga sa mga checkpoints. Naka-isolate na umano ang mga ito sa iba’t ibang quarantine facilities.
Kinuhanan ng swab samples ang mga pulis at ipinasuri ito sa testing facilities ng Marikina at San Juan.
Nauna rito, ipinasara ang Quezon City Police District Headquarters sa Camp Karingal matapos magpositibo ang 13 pulis nito sa COVID-19.
