PINAGPAPALIWANAG ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Cebu City ang 15 vendor na nagbebenta ng overpriced na itlog at gulay.
Sinabi ng City Legal Office (CLO) na ipatatawag nila ang mga nasabing vendor upang sagutin ang alegasyon.
Ang mga vendor ay nagtitinda sa mga barangay ng Capitol, Talamban, Pardo, at Quiot.
“The Market Operations Division enforcers rounded up these public markets last week and found out that prices of eggs, fruits, and vegetables, among other market products, were absurdly high as compared to the DTI-issued price matrix,” ayon sa CLO.
Kapag napatunayang nagkasala, maaaring maipasara ang kanilang tindahan o hindi na makapagtinda sa palengke kahit kailan.
