PAPAYAGAN ang mga nagtratrabaho o mayroong mga business na senior citizens na lumabas sa panahon ng general community quarantine, ayon sa Inter-Agency Task Force.
Ayon kay Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, hindi naman nilalagay ng IATF ang mga seniors sa house arrest dahil ang ban na ito ay isang overall policy at isa sa mga vulnerable sa sakit na coronavirus disease o COVID-19 ay ang mga matatanda.
“The operating guidelines are to be issued. Of course, the seniors who are actively working or running businesses will be allowed. We will use ID system.” ani Lopez sa isang statement na binasa ni Communications Secretary Martin Andanar sa Laging Handa public briefing.
Papayagan din ang mga senior na mag-papacheck-up at iba pang prosesong medikal, pagbili ng pagkain at gamot at paghingi ng government assistance.
