Pinoy celebs game sa ECQ extension: Kung ito’y para sa ikabubuti ng lahat
“GAME!” Yan ang nagkakaisang pahayag ng ilang celebrities tungkol sa pagpapalawig ng enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon dulot ng COVID-19 pandemic.
Suportado nila ang ECQ extension dahil naniniwala rin sila na hindi pa ito ang tamang panahon para tapusin ang lockdown.
Una na riyan ang anak nina Megastar Sharon Cuneta at Gabby Concepcion na si KC Concepcion na isa rin sa mga artistang walang sawa sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga apektado ng killer virus at frontliners.
“Super game to keep staying home. I am all for extending the community quarantine. Kahit abutin ng May okay lang, kung para naman sa ikabubuti nating lahat. Kayo ba? Are you game to extend the ‘lockdown’?” ang mensahe ni KC.
Post naman sa Instagram ng TV host-broadcast journalist na si Korina Sanchez, “Ok. So you want the lockdown lifted? Everyone does. But should it be? Let’s poll. My vote is that we stay locked down until it is truly safe. I told my friend, mabuti na ang masira ang ulo sa loob ng bahay kaysa mamatay sa ospital.
“Even as lockdown is lifted, big assemblies should still be regulated. Social distancing still observed and masks still worn. Hinala ko, hanggang July ito. Sana huwag. Most importantly, sana wala nang magkasakit at bawian nang buhay. What do YOU think? #DeathToCorona #1WithTheWorld.”
Para naman sa Kapuso registered nurse-actor na si Rocco Nacino, hindi pa talaga sapat ang isang buwang ECQ sa bansa “to flatten the curve.”
“Ako, in favor ako. In my opinion, it’s like treating an infection. Let’s say, naka-antibiotic medicine kayo for seven days and on the second day, wala na yung sakit nyo but it doesn’t necessarily mean na free from infection na kayo.
“Kaya seven days ang antibiotics, to completely remove any infection sa katawan mo, just to be sure. I think the same applies to our current situation.
“As much as I want to go back to my normal routine, mas kailangan na safe and virus-free muna ang bansa natin bago tayo mag-resume ng normal life natin
“I think it will be a wise decision to do that para hindi na tayo bumalik sa sitwasyon na ito,” pahayag ng Descendants Of The Sun (DOTS) star sa isang panayam.
Sey naman ng Kapamilya actor na si Enchong, “Yes, I’m all for it. Until the government announces that COVID-19 is already under control, that’s the time we can probably but slowly loosen the community quarantine.”
