“Airlines should allow full refund of cancelled tickets and free rebooking because it is not the fault of their customers that they are not proceeding with or postponing their trips. The travel ban is forcing them to stay home. They should not be penalized for complying with government-imposed measures,” ani Castelo.
“These companies have the whole gamut of resources under them and they are just waiting to be tapped for assistance,” ani Gatchalian, chairman ng House Committee on Trade and Industry. “The national health emergency is an opportune time to seek the support of big companies and facilitate a fruitful collaboration with them.”
“The principle to imbue a social function to these business organizations to become effective partners of our government is very timely in this extraordinary time of great need,” ani Gatchalian.
“ I am certain that any donations sought for and given freely will be met with outstretched arms, especially that our own President has openly encouraged it during his address to the public of an Enhanced Community Quarantine. Any uncertainty of moral or ethical concern must give way to the primordial intent to fulfill a social and civic responsibility,” saad ng solon.
