NIYANIG ng magnitude 5.5 lindol ang Leyte Lunes ng umaga, ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Naramdaman ang lindol alas-5:19 ng umaga at ang epicenter nito ay walong kilometro sa timog ng Leyte. May lalim itong siyam na kilometro.
Nagbabala ang Phivolcs ng aftershock sa lindol na ito.
Nagdulot ito ng Intensity V na paggalaw sa Kananga, Capoocan, at Pastrana, Leyte; Tacloban City at Ormoc City.
Intensity IV naman sa Palo, Dulag, Babatngon, Alang-alang at Palompon, Leyte, Mandaue City at Cebu City; Naval, Biliran.
Intensity III naman sa Lapu-lapu City; at Lawaan, Eastern Samar.
Ang mga instrumento ng Phivolcs ay nakapagtala ng Intensity IV sa Ormoc City; Naval, Biliran; at Borongan City; Intensity II sa Bago City; at Intensity I sa Masbate City; Roxas City.
