ARESTADO ang isang 24-anyos na estudyante nang makuhaan ng aabot sa 10 kilong marijuana sa operasyon kontra iligal na droga, sa Cubao, Quezon City, Huwebes ng umaga.
Dinakip si Karlo Jose Pio Ricafrente, residente ng Santolan, Pasig City, ayon sa ulat ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-National Capital Region.
Isinagawa ng PDEA units mula NCR, Central Luzon, Cordillera, at Quezon City Police ang interdiction operation sa isang terminal ng bus sa Brgy. E. Rodriguez, EDSA.
Dala ni Ricafrente sa bus ang aabot sa 10 kilo o P1.2 milyon halaga ng marijuana, ayon naman sa ulat ng pulisya.
