SEA Games: PH 5 women’s team nakuha ang unang SEAG gold.

NAKUHA ng Philippine women’s basketball team ang makasaysayang unang Southeast Asian Games gold medal matapos tambakan ang Thailand, 91-71, sa kanilang 30th SEA Games basketball game Martes ng gabi sa Mall of Asia Arena.

Nanguna para sa Gilas Pilipinas women’s team si Jack Animam na gumawa ng 21 puntos.

Nag-ambag naman si Janine Pontejos ng 16 puntos habang sina Kelly Casey Hayes at Ana Alicia Castillo ay nagdagdag ng tig-11 puntos.

Nagkaloob naman si Afril Bernardino ng 10 puntos para sa Pilipinas.
