Robredo all talk sa drug war- Cayetano

“So the success of the ICAD and Vice President Leni, success of the whole country. Failure is not only her failure, failure natin lahat. So I wanna make that clear na dapat tanggalin ang politics, whether from the opposition or administration when it comes to drug war,” ani Cayetano.

Napansin umano ni Cayetano na mula ng maupo si Robredo ay naging ‘All Talk’ na lang ang war on drugs.

“I’ve been monitoring for the last three days, and parang from ‘Operating Tokhang’, parang naging ‘Operation All-Talk’ eh. Well, nagulat ako. I guess it just so happens that the vice president is the favorite media, or she likes media exposure.”

“But usually in her first three days, sa office ko nga the first month, I asked people to be involved in all the meetings, get yourself acquainted, and everything, then do the talking later. So it’s hard to know… Then now she says magpapa-briefing sa lahat ng department at sa lahat ng agencies. Eh hindi pa pala nagbibi-briefing, so why already all of these ideas and criticisms?” dagdag pa ni Cayetano.

“They’ve been criticizing for the last three, four years, and they’ve been claiming that we lost innocent lives which is partly true. And they’ve also said that hindi successful. We will debate that it’s not successful and I would say that since the 1970s, ito ang pinaka-successful na campaign against drugs. Sa innocent life, look at the time of President Arroyo or President Aquino, we lost more innocent life when we did nothing.”
