JULIE ANNE SAN JOSE

PROUD Kapuso pa rin ang Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose. Her journey as a Kapuso continues as she renewed her exclusive contract with GMA Network recently.

Isa si Julie sa mga homegrown talents ng GMA na unang napanood sa reality talent competition na Popstar Kids in 2007 kung saan naging champion si Rita Daniela.

Being a Kapuso after more than a decade, the award-winning singer-actress is looking forward to what’s yet to come in her career.

“I’m very happy and blessed. Nagpapasalamat po ako kay Lord and sa GMA for giving me another opportunity to share what I have, I’m just very grateful, excited, and looking forward to future projects here in my home network,” pahayag ni Julie na nagsunud-sunod ang swerte sa career ng mawalan ng lovelife.

Regular na napapanood ang dalaga sa weekly comedy musical-variety show na Sunday PinaSaya where she showcases her humorous side in the show’s various segments. Siya rin ang Clash Master ngayon sa Kapuso singing competition na The Clash.

“Nakakatuwa dahil lahat ng pinagdadaanan ng Clashers na-ia-apply nila sa pagpe-perform, that says a lot already and we’re grateful they’re able to share their hearts sa mga tao. For me kasi, the important thing is pag singer ka, kailangan may soul ka rin.

“That’s how people perceive you as an artist and doon nila makikita kung gaano ka ka-authentic pagdating sa craft mo,” lahad ng award-winning singer-actress.

After the success of her soldout concert “Julie Sings the Divas” last July, naging busy naman siya sa iba pang commitments, kabilang na ang promo ng bagong release niyang single, ang “Regrets” at ang collaboration project nila ni Rico Blanco, ang “Isang Gabi.”

A true testament to her journey as one of the top voices in the country’s music scene, Julie received recognitions at the 32nd Awit Awards where she took home the Favorite Album of the Year award for Breakthrough and the Favorite Collaboration Performance award for “Down For Me” a duet with Fern.

At para sa lahat ng fans ni Julie, abangan bagong project ng dalaga digital music streaming platform Spotify.

Samantala, present sa contract signing ni Julie sina GMA Network Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe Gozon, President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto Duavit, Jr., Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, Vice President for Business Development Department III Darling de Jesus-Bodegon, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angel Javier Cruz, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, Senior Program Managers Mae Zambrano, Charles Koo, Ian Roxas, Ruth Mariñas, and GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora.

“Well of course nagpapasalamat tayo, talagang homegrown naman si Julie Anne at habang siya’y nade-develop, lalong gumagaling kaya’t tayo ay natutuwa,” mensahe ni Gozon kay Julie.

Dagdag naman ni Lilybeth Rasonable, “Dito halos lumaki si Julie Anne at nag-blossom ang career and now she’s hosting The Clash, nakakatuwa.

“Mapa-music, acting sa drama, comedy, she’s award-winning pa. Tahanan na n’ya ang GMA at kami bilang parang mga magulang na din niya dito, natutuwa sa lahat ng na-achieve na n’ya. I’m very proud,” sey pa ng GMA executive.
