Jessy, Luis, Angel nagpaliwanag kung bakit absent sa ‘Ball’
CONSPICUOUSLY, absent sina Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano sa katatapos na ABS-CBN Ball.
Bago pa tumalak ang detractors ng dalawa ay nagpaliwanag na si Jessy kung bakit wala sila sa nasabing big event ng Dos.
“Hindi ako pupunta, sayang. Birthday kasi ni Tito Edu and we’ve planned something else. Kaya ayon, hindi kami makakadalo ni Luis,” paliwanag ni Jessy.
Thankful ang aktres dahil every year ay invited sila sa ball, “We’re very thankful na every year naman, as always, lagi kaming invited. For now, we’ll rest it out muna and ce-lebrate ‘yung birthday ni Tito Edu,” say ni Jessy.
Maganda na ‘yung nagpaliwanag si Jessy dahil baka isipin na porke wala na siya sa Star Magic at lumipat na siya sa manager ni Luis ay inisnab na niya ang ABS-CBN Ball.
Isa pang hindi dumalo sa nasabing ball na taun-taon ay inaaba-ngan ng lahat ay si Angel Locsin.
Nag-explain ang The Gene-ral’s Daughter actress kung bakit wala siya sa nasabing okasyon. Sa kanyang Instagram account nagpaliwanag si Angel.
“I salute my friends at the ABS-CBN Ball who are doing their share to promote awareness on children’s rights and to help the beneficiaries of Bantay Bata 163 get the education that everyone deserves.
“As for me, I decided to do my share in a way that I could probably be more of use. I think it would be better for me to donate directly to Bantay Bata the amount that I’m supposed to spend in the ball. It’s not much, but will help make a difference to someone else’s life.”
