RitKen, Barangay LS FM patutunayang may ‘forever’

MAY forever pa rin! Yan ang hugot ng bagong theme song ng Barangay LS 97.1, ang flagship FM station ng GMA Network.
Siguradong maniniwala pa rin ang mga Kapuso sa “forever” kapag narinig nila ang “Tayo ay Forever.”
This heartwarming song, performed by two of the Network’s versatile and sought-after Kapuso stars Ken Chan and Rita Daniela, shows how forever can be defined in so many ways.
Ayon kay Ken, siguradong marami ang makaka-relate sa song, “Maganda ‘yung kanta, talagang feel good lang at very light. It’s about believing in forever. Hindi lang ito forever sa pagitan ng dalawang tao kundi pwede rin between friends, family, and sa lahat ng mga taong nakapaligid sa iyo na dapat i-spread mo sa kanila ang forever.”
Para naman kay Rita, si Ken talaga ang naisip niya nang una niyang marinig ang “Tayo ay Forever”, “I have to say ‘yung ganitong style at genre, ito ‘yung style ni Ken, lalo na kapag Tagalog.”
Collectively known as RitKen, the two proves to be a dynamic duo as the official release of “Tayo ay Forever” music video on Facebook last July 29 has garnered more than half a million views in less than one week.
Mula sa GMA Music, ang “Tayo ay Forever” ay isinulat ng sikat na sikat na Barangay LS 97.1 DJ na si Papa Obet, arranged by Jun Tamayo and produced by Kedy Sanchez.
Papa Obet also shares how he came up with the song that would be relatable to everyone and at the same time be very fitting for RitKen.
“I made sure na maging bagay sa RitKen ang dating ng song when it comes to melody at kailangan masasabayan din ng lahat ng tao.
“Sa lyrics, ang inisip ko ay dapat hindi lang pang romantic, dapat pwede rin siya sa ibang bagay at sitwasyon, katulad ng pakikinig sa Barangay LS na hindi pwedeng mawala at lagi nating kasama together hanggang forever,” aniya pa.
