Tubig sa Angat Dam bumaba, lumapit sa critical level
MULING lumapit ang lebel ng tubig sa Angat dam sa critical level at kahapon ay ipinaalala ng Manila Water at Maynilad na patuloy ang rotational service interruption dahil sa kakulangan ng tubig.
Sa datos ng Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration bumaba sa 161.01 metro ang tubig sa Angat dam kahapon ng umaga mula sa 161.22 metro noong Linggo ng umaga.
Ang critical water level ng Angat ay 160 metro.
Ang lebel ng tubig sa La Mesa dam ay bumaba rin ng 0.07 metro o mula 72.36 metro ay naging 72.29 metro na lamang kahapon ng umaga.
Ang Angat at La Mesa dams ang pangunahing pinagkukuhanan ng suplay ng tubig sa Kamaynilaan.
Inanunsyo naman ng Manila Water na nananatili ang rotational service interruption sa Manila East Zone.
“Customers may continue to experience low water pressure to no water because of emergency adjustments being undertaken due to low reservoir levels,” saad ng Manila Water.
Ayon naman sa Maynilad mayroon itong bagong rotational service interruptions simula noong Linggo.
“We encourage our affected customers to store enough water when supply is available. Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out for a few seconds until the supply clears. We appeal to our customers for their continued patience and understanding, as we try to manage the effects of the reduced allocation on our operations,” saad ng advisory ng Maynilad.
