MARAMI ang na-inspire sa Instagram bikini photo ni Iza Calzado.

Wearing a two-piece black bikini, Iza showed to all and sundry her physical imperfections with this caption: “My body has gone through so many changes and as a result I have stretch marks, loose skin, scars and cellulite.

“I no longer want to hide these behind digitally distorted images because, truth be told, this reduces the pressure of trying to look perfect in every picture.

“This is one of my steps in my self love journey and I have written more about this topic in the latest issue of @metromagph which will be out online soon. #thebodyloverevolution.

“P.S. Lighting, shadows and angle not included in digital distortion so I will continue to use the to my advantage! Hahaha!”

Sobrang na-inspire ang kanyang fans sa post niyang iyon.

“You’re still the bestest ever! Continue to be an inspiration to everyone else.”

“I really admire u Miss Iza. I have almost all of this kind body issues. At ang baba ng self confidence ko.

But then thank u to my husband na nagbibigay sakin ng lakas ng loob to show my body. At this summer nagsuot ako ng swimming suit for the first time without even thinking or telling myself na ‘nahihiya ako or nakakaiha’ and it really feels good.”

“You are an inspiration to many women.”

“This is empowering. Grew up with weight issues, stretch marks and all, and seeing this just shows me, in all un-photoshopped glory, that imperfection is not a weakness. We can turn it into our strength.”
