Pag-aalis ng Filipino at Panitikan sa kolehiyo tuloy na
PINAL na ang ligalidad ng K-to-12 program matapos namang ibasura ng Korte Suprema ang motion for reconsideration na inihain ng iba’t ibang grupo kaugnay ng pag-aalis ng Filipino, Panitikan at Konstitusyon sa curriculum sa kolehiyo.
Sa limang-pahinang notice of resolution, sinabi ng Kataastaasang Hukuman na “unmeritorious” ang mga inihaing mosyon ng Alyansa ng Mga Tagapagtanggol ng Wikang Filipino (Tanggol Wika, Alliance of Defenders of the Filipino Language) “for failing to offer any substantial argument.”
Inaprubahan ang resolusyon ng lahat ng miuembro ng SC maliban kay Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe, na naka-on leave.
Nag-isyu naman si Justice Marvic Leonen ng hiwalay na concurring opinion.
