Comelec: VCM nagluko, balota ni ex-VP Binay muling isasalang
NAGLUKO ang vote-counting machine (VCM) sa polling precinct ni dating at Vice President Jejomar Binay, dahilan para i-reject ang kanyang balota.
Kinumpirma ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Spokesperson James Jimenez ang pagluluko ng VCM matapos namang sumugod si Binay sa PICC Forum para ireklamo ang na-reject na balota.
“Initial reports had it that he was not allowed to feed the ballot anymore after the eight tries. Upon investigation, nakita natin na ang problema pala ay nasa machine,” sabi ni Jimenez.
Idinagdag ni Jimenez na napalitan na ang VCM at muling isasalang ang mga ni-reject na mga balota, kasama ang kay Binay.
“The machine has been replaced so ang gagawin natin, yung mga ballot na nareject will be batch fed sa (new) machine including yun kay VP Binay,” ayon kay Jimenez.
