Toni: Matagal ko na talagang gustong makatrabaho si Alex!
IT was originally a story about sisters na magkakaroon ng conflict.
Kay Toni Gonzaga pala nagsimula ang idea ng warring sisters sa 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry nilang “Mary, Marry Me.”
“I’ve always had this concept in my head but I don’t want to take full credit about the whole story because pinalago na siya, pinalawak na siya. Maraming inputs na ibinigay ang creative team ng Ten17.
“I started with the idea na pinalago nila. It started with a concept na parang ang sarap gumawa ng family movie and then romcom movie into one,” she explained.
Of course, ang sister niyang si Alex Gonzaga ang nasa mind niya when she conceptualized the movie. “I’ve always wanted to work with Alex,” she admitted.
“Gusto kong makita kung paano siya makakatrabaho sa film, kung ano ang magiging dynamics namin because in real life and even doon sa mga blogs niya or even on TV, I feel like we’ve always had a strong bond and chemistry I just wanna see how it could reflect on the big screen,” Toni added.
