Alden inokray ng bashers sa paggamit ng maling English word

Alex Brosas - December 04, 2018 - 12:40 AM

ALDEN Something should be careful when he uses the King’s language.

When we watched his recent interview, we were aghast at his temerity to use a big word.

Yes, we all welcome change. We embrace it but please lang Alden, don’t try to mouth English words which you probably don’t have any idea what it’s all about.

We’re saying this because of your use of “agnostic”. When you were asked what your future plans are, sinabi mo na you’re willing to audition, although you did not mention it, sa Hollywood.

“Parang when I was there po, na-open po ang options and possibilities na puwede pong makakuha ng trabaho. It’s open for everyone kasi ngayon daw po as per Pinoy na nakausap ko who works inside the business parang very open na po sila when getting actors.

“Agnostic na po sila. Ayaw na po nila na masyadong typecasted na puro Amerikano lang, puro sila lang. Gusto nila mas diverse, mas iba, ibang culture. So, I’m gonna be exploring that side,” he said.
Alden, the word agnostic means “a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.”

Galing ‘yan sa online dictionary, ha. What was your alalay Tenten doing? Didn’t he advise you not to use big words in your interview? Alam din ba niya ang word na agnostic?

Baka naman you mean antagonistic, hindi kaya? But hey, the way you delivered your statement, it was with precision, as if you know the word so well.

Maraming celebrities, wanting to impress or to show off their newly-acquired tongue, use the King’s language. Don’t add to that growing number. Please!!!

Oh, boy, wasn’t it you din who mouthed Michael Bubble instead of Michael Buble sa noontime show n’yo recently? Ayan, left and right na bash tuloy ang inabot mo.

“Dapat bago pabasahin ng cue cards on live TV, pina-practice muna. Para in case ma-misprounounced ang names or words, ma correct na agad,” said one guy.

“Kasing edad ko si Alden but I know Michael Buble is and I also know how to pronounce his name. Goes to show that you both don’t pay attention to well known, award winning singers,” said another guy.
