7 patay, 91 arestado sa kampanya kontra rogue cops — PNP-CITF
PITO ang patay, samantalang 91 ang naaresto sa 50 operasyon na isinagawa ng Counter-Intelligence Task Force (CITF) sa mga tiwaling pulis mula Pebrero 2017 hanggang Setyembre 2018, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Sinabi ni CITF chief Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr. na ang operasyon ay base sa mga on text message, tawag at mga walk-in na reklamo laban sa mga pasaway na pulis.
“The complaints were first referred for investigation and validation to respective PNP units before operations were launched,” sabi Caramat.
Umabot naman sa 2,000 pulis ang nasibak at 4,000 ang nasuspinde sa patuloy na paglilinis sa hanap ng kapulisan.
