Anne umapir sa Showtime kahit puro sugat at pasa ang katawan

SANDAMAKMAK na sugat at pasa ang inabot ni Anne Curtis sa shooting ng kanyang kauna-unahang action movie na “BuyBust”.

Bukod dito, muntik pa siyang mabasagan ng ngipin dahil sa matitinding fight scenes na ipinagawa sa kanya ni direk Erik Matti.

Sa ginanap na grand mediacon ng “BuyBust” kamakalawa, naikuwento ni Anne kung gaano kahirap ang mga ginawa niyang buwis-buhay stunts sa pelikula.

“Parang nakailang pasok po ako sa Showtime na puro pasa ‘yung legs ko, puro pasa ‘yung arms ko. Actually, ‘yung sa kasal ko kailangang long sleeves yung dress ko kasi puro sugat yung dito ko (sabay turo sa braso) fresh wounds talaga. And yes this was the first time I was punched in the face by a man.

“Hindi naman niya sinasadya, ano lang hindi lang natantya so, nasuntok ako sa mukha and dito, narinig ko yung ngipin ko. So, una kong hinawakan yung ganito ko (bagang), it’s still there pa naman. Tapos, pagtingin ko lahat ng nasa set nu’ng time na ‘yun puro lalaki so ayokong umiyak kahit na gusto kong umiyak.

“Pero dahil ako lang yung babae gusto kong patunayan na kaya ko, hindi talaga ako umiyak tsaka lang nu’ng wala na sa akin yung camera. Sabi ni Kuya na stuntman, ‘Okay ka lang?’ sabi ko hindi. Gumaganu’n lang ako. So, yes I was physically injured during shooting pero alam mo yun, para sa ikakaganda ng movie, gagawin mo talaga lahat,” mahabang paliwanag ni Anne.

Ano naman ang reaksyon ng kanyang asawang si Erwan Heussaff nu’ng umuwi siya sa bahay nila na puro pasa? “Mas lalo akong nabe-baby, kasi parang naawa siya sa akin.

“You know, in fact, I think it’s what made him even more excited to see this film because he saw how much effort was put into shooting this film,” sey pa ng TV host-actress.

Tinanggap daw agad ni Anne ang “BuyBust” nang i-offer ito sa kanya ni direk Erik dahil, “I was so hungry for a role and a film like this.” Aniya pa, this is the best way for her to celebrate her 21st anniversary in showbiz.

Isang PDEA agent ang role ni Anne sa movie at lahat daw talaga ng kanyang eksena ay buwis-buhay, kaya ang tanong sa kanya kung may pagkakataon ba na gusto na niyang sumuko at umatras, “Never. Sobra akong competitive and challenged, I like to take the challenge on.

“Gusto kong patunayan sa pelikulang ito na kaya ng female lead na gumawa ng action film. ‘Yan ang gusto kong patunayan,” sey ni Anne.

Ang “BuyBust” ang sinasabing pinakambisyoso at pinakamalaking Pinoy action film mula sa Reality Entertainment at Viva Films. Makakasama rin dito ang MMA star na si Brandon Vera, Nonie Buencamino, Victor Neri, Mara Lopez, Joross Gamboa, Arjo Atayde, AJ Muhlach at marami pang iba.

Showing na ito sa August 1 sa mga sinehan nationwide.

Samantala, isa ang “BuyBust” sa anim na mga Filipino movies na nakasama sa New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF). Ito ang magiging closing film sa nasabing international filmfest sa darating na July 15.

Binigyan ng Send-Off presscon ng Film Development Council of the Philippines ang anim na entries ng Pilipinas sa pangunguna ni Chairperson Liza Dino-Seguerra.

Ang lima pang Pinoy movies na nakapasok sa NYAFF ay ang “Respeto” ni Treb Monteras starring Abra; “Neomanila” ni Mikhail Red na pinagbibidahan ni Eula Valdez; “On The Job” ni Erik Matti starring Piolo Pascual, Joel Torre and Gerald Anderson; “Sid & Aya” ni Irene Villamor starring Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis; at ang “We Will Not Die Tonight” directed by Richard Somes kung saan bida naman si Erich Gonzales.

Sa pamamagitan ng Film Festival Assistance Program ng FDCP, nabibigyan ng tulong ang mga delegado para makarating nang personal sa mga international filmfest.
