Also a Marian devotee, her Papal award is a reaffirmation of her spirituality.

Kuwento ni Ai Ai, isang araw daw ay nagising na lang siyang tumambad on Facebook ang mga taong nag-aaway with dissenting opinions on religion.

At bilang isang Papal awardee, she’s duty-bound daw to defend the Church sa lahat ng pagkakataon, yet in a manner obviously evading the Pre sident’s slur.

Siyempre, we don’t buy this. Klaro naman na pigil na pigil lang ang sumasabog na damdamin ni Ai Ai laban kay Digong who she openly did not support noong nangangampanya ito (then who, sino pa kundi si dating VP Jejomar Binay?).

We were expecting a somewhat daring Ai Ai lalo pa’t sa kanyang bibig na mismo nanggaling na kailangan niyang ipagtanggol ang Simbahang Katoliko, its clergy included.

Kaso, isang pabebe, pa-tweetums at playing safe na Ai Ai ang basta nagkuwento lang as though she missed the arrow sa inaasintang papanain. Is it because Ai Ai has a career to protect first and foremost?

Mabuti-buti pa pala si Carmi Martin who dauntlessly branded the President as “walanghiya, salbahe!” to think na hindi inalintana ng seksi pa ring aktres ang aabutin niyang batikos from the so-called DDS. May career din naman si Carmi that she needs to protect, pero ‘di hamak na mas mataas at mas malalim (talk about oxymoron) ang level of spirituality niya kesa sa naturingang Papal awardee.
