MMDA nakakolekta ng 400 trak ng basura mula sa mga estero sa loob ng isang linggo
NAKAKOLEKTA ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ng mahigit 400 trak ng basura sa mga estero sa palibot ng Metro Manila mula Mayo 31 hanggang Hunyo 7.
Isinagawa ang declogging operation sa Estero de Magdalena, Estero de Maypajo, Tunasan Creek, at Hagonoy River.
Sinabi ni MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim na ang 432 trak ng basura ay katumbas ng 2,292 cubic meters ng basura.
“Every day, our workers go down the drainage and waterways just to haul the garbage,” sabi ni Lim.
