TATLONG pelikula ang ginagawa ngayon ng Kapamilya hunk na si Tony Labrusca. Napahinga man sa teleserye ang binata, sunud-sunod naman ang kanyang movie projects ngayon.
Bukod sa kanyang Cinemalaya entry this year na “ML (Martial Law)” kung saan makakasama niya ang award-winning veteran actor-director na si Eddie Garcia, tinatapos din niya ang isa pang pelikula na ilalaban naman sa Cinema One Film Festival.
Isa itong erotic-suspense-drama opposite Joem Bascon. Kuwento ni Tony, siguradong ikagugulat ng kanyang mga supporters ang mga gagawin niya sa pelikula kung saan gaganap siyang isang gymnast.
Hindi pa pwedeng banggitin ang ikatlong pelikula na gagawin ni Tony dahil wala pang go signal mula sa producer at direktor. Nakausap namin ang hunk actor pagkatapos ng contract signing niya bilang ambassador at Marketing-Advertising manager ng bagong beverage business na Deja Blend mula sa WVC Food Kiosk.
Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na papasukin ni Tony ang mundo ng pagnenegosyo at siniguro niya magiging hands on siya sa pagtatrabaho rito. But he immediately assured his supporters na hindi niya iiwan ang pag-aartista.
Aniya, nais lang niyang mag-try sa pagha-handle ng business para sa kanyang future. Tatlo na ang branches ng Deja Blend (Recto, Legarda at Taytay) na favorite tambayan na ngayon ng mga millennial dahil sa kanilang favorite frappuccinos, milk teas at lemonade o mas kilala ngayon bilang “lemonoids”.
“This is something that I’ve always wanted to do. I mean, I am in showbiz but you’ll never know when your time has come in showbiz. So I just really wanted to start looking into ways that I could secure my future.
“I’ve been praying for works that I could support my family if I wasn’t going to be in showbiz so the next option for me was to open a business. So it’s really just a blessing that came at the right time at the right place,” ani Tony sa presscon ng kanilang beverage business na may tagline na “The perfect blend”.

Samantala, natanong din si Tony tungkol sa ka-loveteam niyang si Kisses Delavin, marami pa rin kasi ang umaasa na magkakaroon sila uli ng project together. Currently, si Donny Pangilinan ang ka-loveteam ni Kisses sa pelikulang “Walwal” na showing na sa June 27.
“Me and Kisses are really good friends. We still talk. In fact, I will be going with Kisses to Megamall, I’m not sure If I should have said that, but yeah we’re gonna go together and I’m just grateful for the friendship that we have. Whenever she’s around I just feel more comfortable because I know I don’t have to be by myself. On top of that, our families are really close” pahayag ng binata.
Dagdag pa niya, “We’re already perfectly happy at where we are and so I don’t think we need to go that extent (serious relationship).
“And also I mean to be very real with people, I mean me and Kisses are good friends and why would we ruin our friendship by doing that, you know what I mean.
“Me and Kisses want to work and not to mention we are a fan based love team. It’s not an imagined based love team and also we have to think about respecting the other love teams, like DonKiss. So I’m just, doing that I think is appropriate.”
